South Caucasus, Armenia
On September 18, the ecological NGO Sustainable Water Environment carried out monitoring of two Armenian rivers—Aghstev and Vanadzor—belonging to Kura river basin.
The Kura is one of the major rivers in South Caucasus. About 25 students from higher educational institutions in two Armenian towns took part in the monitoring. The rivers were selected for study by the students who were concerned with their pollution.
