Biologist, agronomist and forester by training, I was first commited to natural resources' assessment (in Africa, India), as a remote sensing expert. As such I spent a lot of time on the field. 2001 was a turn. As one of the 3 experts of the Project for the Use of Meteosat in Africa (PUMA/MTAP), I started working on applications of meteorological data for development. In 2008, I was in charge of a CCA project - Acclimate - in the South Western Indian Ocean region. Acclimate identified the regional climatic trends, profiled the vulnerabilities of the 5 state-members, designed a regional strategy for adaptation, and established a regional web portal within the IOC. In 2015, in the framework of the EC Global Climate Change Alliance, I led a team of Experts to assist the Ministry of Environment of Chad in the implementation of a project dealing with CCA and development of Renewable Energies. Now, I am the team leader of the technical assistance team to the GMES and Africa Support Programme Management Unit (African Union Commission). During all these years, I have demonstrated significant professionalism and flexibility. I showed that I am able to adapt myself to various multicultural and multilingual environment, ways of working, ideas and know-how, and to establish mutual and beneficial working relationships.
